With its unique distilling process and twelve robust flavours, the difference in taste and technique of Sơn Tinh Original Rượu (Vietnamese Rice Liquor) over other spirits such as vodka and shōchū are obvious. From its beginning, while contending in international beverage competitions, it became apparent that Sơn Tinh needed to be distinguished in a class of its own.
It is now, more than ever since its inception in the late 1990s, that Sơn Tinh is not only breaking away from the pack, but it is also leading it. Rượu is becoming known for its distinctiveness and is increasingly being recognised as a category and experience of its own.
